She hardly ever barks. The only time she does is when she's startled by a person or a loud noise. She totally loves people... We got her as as a 10-week old pup. Teq has brought so much fun and enjoyment by just being with us. Happy to see you when you get home and ever happier when you've been gone over a day!

Teq is about 10 years old now (7/27/97). She is well behaved, goes on walks with us. She was easily taught to heel, sit, stay, lay down and "go get in your box". (The basics, obviously.) She always let's us know when she needs to go out and she loves to travel! I would recommend a Shiba (if they are all like ours) to families with children if you're not sure what to get. Teq is the most patient dog I've ever seen. I pull her tail, pick her up, play with her as much as I can. A real joy to have around.
